ORDERING POLICY
Payments/Deposits
QUOTATIONS
All quotes remain valid for seven days from the date of issuance.
ORDERS
We recommend providing a minimum of fourteen (14) days' notice for all orders, as our schedule tends to fill up quickly. However, we will make every effort to accommodate short-notice requests if availability allows.

DEPOSITS
For single-tier cakes, a 50% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking at least seven (7) days before pickup. If we deliver the product as agreed and invoiced, but the customer declines acceptance, the deposit will not be refunded. The customer can choose to pay the remaining balance and take the products or leave them at no extra cost.
2-tier Cakes or Wedding Cakes, To secure your booking for 2-tier cakes and wedding cakes, a non-refundable deposit of $100.00 is necessary if the event is more than 2 weeks away. For events within 2 weeks, full payment is required upfront.

UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES
If we need to cancel the booking due to illness or any other unforeseen circumstance that affects our ability to deliver the ordered product, the deposit will be refunded within seven (7) days of notifying the Customer.
FINAL BALANCE PAYMENTS AND PICKUPS
The remaining balance must be settled on or before the pickup date before the product leaves our premises.

For cash payments, we kindly request the exact change as we may not have it readily available.

For internet transfers, payment must be received in our account before the product is released from our premises.

Customers are responsible for inspecting the product's condition before departure. Once the item has left our premises, it is the customer's responsibility to ensure its safe transport and proper storage as per our instructions to maintain optimal taste and quality.
Delivery/ Pick Up
PICKUP
Please ensure to collect the items at the precise agreed-upon time from the designated location specified in your invoice.
A late fee of $1 per minute will be applied for pickups occurring more than 30 minutes after the agreed-upon time. The late fee must be settled at the time of pickup before the order is handed over. If the order remains unclaimed after 6 hours from the original pickup time, without alternative arrangements made, Frannie’s Bite Simply Homemade reserves the right to dispose of or donate the order, with no refund issued to the client.
Kindly refrain from arriving without prior notice for an early pickup. Your order may not be prepared, or we might not be available to assist you at that time.

DELIVERY
For single-tier cakes, enjoy weekend delivery between 10 AM and 1 PM on Saturdays within a 7-mile radius of our studio for just $15. If your address falls within this delivery area, please provide it during checkout.
Secure your booking for 2-tier cakes or wedding cakes, complete with delivery and setup options available within Edmonton city limits starting at $50. Extra travel fees may be required for deliveries outside the city. Feel free to contact us for more details.

Delivery will be conducted safely and appropriately. Once the product is delivered to the customer and the exchange is completed with the product in satisfactory condition, it becomes the customer's responsibility to store and handle the cake according to our instructions. We are not liable for any damages incurred after this exchange.
If the customer is not present at the agreed-upon date and time for delivery and cannot be contacted, the product will be returned to our premises, and it will be the customer's responsibility to arrange for collection.
Equipment Return
We collect deposits for all equipment rentals. All equipment must be returned to our studio by the agreed-upon date. Failure to do so may result in additional charges to cover extended hire costs. Any damages to the equipment will result in a deduction from the deposit to cover repair or replacement expenses.

POSTPONEMENT
If the event needs to be postponed for any reason, please notify me promptly.
The rescheduled date will be subject to availability.

CANCELLATIONS/REFUNDS
Cancellation refunds are subject to the following policy:

Cancellations made up to one (1) month before the event date will receive a refund, minus the initial deposit and any costs incurred for supplies purchased for your cake.
Cancellations within seven (7) days of the event will not be eligible for refunds.
Refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.

Any non-refundable balance can be credited toward future purchases.
Allergies
Our cakes, fillings, and icings might contain or have contact with allergens such as soy, wheat, dairy, nuts, or others. Customers must inform us of any allergies before confirming their order and communicating this information to their guests. We cannot be held responsible for allergic reactions. All products must be consumed on the day of the celebration. Though we endeavour to accommodate allergy requests, please note that our kitchen handles various allergens, and cross-contamination is possible.
Design
Products requested based on images from other cake makers will be recreated by us as our interpretation. While we strive to maintain the theme, please note that they will NOT be exact reproductions.
Publication
We retain the right to utilize any images of our products for future publication.
